The main problem in our so called Justice system is the fact that they don’t rehabilitate people. When you go to jail the very first thing they do is deprogram you, problem is they don’t bother to reprogram you. You have someone telling you what to do every second of the day, when to eat, when to shit, when to sleep. These kids or adults get out of jail and they don’t have that structured environment anymore and all the sudden they are in the middle of chaos. Suddenly every day activities like cleaning your home, going to work, cooking, become very difficult to manage. Not to mention if you have a felony. You wont be able to get a decent job or place to live for the rest of your life. In order to correct behavior you have to correct it immediately, be consistent, and provide a solution. Our justice system is never immediate, never consistent and never provides healthy solutions. Our so called Justice system sets people up for future failure. Our justice system does not stop criminal activity it breeds it.
In today’s world the term “They are just being kids.” is only half right because there are both responsible, respectful kids, then there are the counterparts of the true irresponsible,rebels without a causes. It goes much deeper than just the Justice System of how our children are allowed to stray from the family structure instilled from birth. The jealousy and manipulation of outside factors and individuals that see a family (Father, Mother, Son and Daughter or any combination of a Nuclear Family) together enjoying each others company is looked upon as something odd and out-of-place. We should return the control of teaching our young ones back to the Home and continue to be informed truthfully by those that come in contact with our off-springs so the world may prosper and not sink to the level of instant gratification with no thought or care for others nor the future.
